Hello,
I just found a great way to earn money just by surfing the internet like normal. You don’t have to purchase anything.

About
I joined the Army fresh out of high school in 1985 because I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do in life. While the military experience was difficult to endure, it was in many ways, the most rewarding and fondly remembered time of my life. I don’t think I would have ever seen Mexico, Germany (I was stationed in Germany for 2 years), & the Isle of Crete, Greece (or flying over the Italian Alps on my way to and from Crete in a C130 – it seemed like I could reach out and grab a handful of snow from the peaks). I completed my 8 year military obligation in the Michigan National Guard.
Once I left the active Army, I used my college fund at ITT Technical Institute in Grand Rapids, MI. to learn how to be an Electronics Engineering Technician. Upon Graduation, I was promoted to Electronics Technician at a company that I hired into in my first 3 months at ITT. I worked at Bennett Electronics Inc. in Grand Rapids for over 5 years as an electronics technician when the family business came calling. I never wanted to work the family business because of all the complaints from my (recently late) Dad all through my childhood about General Motors Corporation. He had submitted my name into the hiring pool even though I didn’t want to work for GM. Well, as it turned out, things at Bennett started going crazy. Everyone was on edge for about a month. Everyone knew there was something brewing. Those that knew what was happening said nothing about it. Rumors were flying around and etc. Well, it was at this time that I got the call from GM. Since I had recently gotten married and inherited 2 children and everything that was going on at Bennett, I decided to swallow my pride and go to work for GM. 1 month after I hired into GM, Bennett Electronics was sold and they closed the doors of the plant that I worked at. At the moment I heard about that, I looked at GM in whole new light, I at least STILL had a job, while my friends from Bennett were left scrambling to find a new job. Things have a way of working out for me like that. In my darkest hours, something occurs that gives me a new avenue to my future.
I worked at GM for more than 11 years in 4 different plants and 3 different cities. I hated working for GM as much or more than my Dad did. For 4 LLLOOOOONNNNNGGGG years, I drove 2 hours to and from Pontiac each day. More often then I want to admit, I woke up in my driveway and I didn’t know how I got there.
Finally, in the summer of 2006, I got the break I had waited my whole life for. GM announced that it was offering every one of it hourly workers a buy out package. I qualified for for the largest payout package based on my seniority. I had always wanted to own my own business, even though I didn’t exactly know what business I wanted to get into at the time. I just figured, ” If I don’t do it now, I NEVER will”. So, I looked at GM. They had just wrapped up talks with the UAW in which our health care benefits were going to cost us a LOT more than what was negotiated during contract bargaining. The further down the road I looked, the more benefits I seen falling by the wayside. It made me wonder if there was any reason to work for GM for another 19 years when I could retire. Would there be any benefits left for us then?
I went home that day and talked to my wife. She didn’t bat an eye when I told her I was seriously considering taking the buyout that GM offered. She looked at me and said, ” Hun, I know the sacrifices you have made over the last 11 years for the kids and I. I know that you hate your job. I know that you want to own your own business. The buyout money from GM is enough to sustain us for a while, while you establish your business. I support you 100%.” I have the greatest wife in the world.
So, That’s how I have come to this point in my life. I have recently started a new venture by opening a Yahoo store called Wolverine Billiards & Consignments. I sell more than just Billiard Tables. I sell a variety of other home entertainment items like – Foosball Tables, Air Hockey Tables, Game Table Accessories, Inflatable Bouncer Rooms, Children’s Ride on Toys, Wooden Swingsets, Swimming Pools, and I am always searching for more items to sell.
This is my first blog. I hope that I am able to provide good information and maybe a good joke or two.
Regards,
WolverineRick.
